Solar storm

Sun, sun, sun
dance, dance
you dance in the darkness of space.

Oh, sun why do do you dance?
dance, dance
dance the night away

Love dances, just like you do
dance, dance
do you dance for LOVE

Are you dancing still?
dance, dance
I dance for you, did you know that?

Right until the end, I will dance
dance, dance
Do you know who I am?

Sun, oh my love
dance, dance
Do you want to know who I am?

Tell me, why do we dance?
dance, dance
we dance and dance and never stop

Of the many, we dance together
dance, dance
let us dance, and never stop

Ring bells, play as we dance our dance
dance, dance
our love will be our dance

May we dance our final dance, together?
dance, dance
You are the sun, and I am the moon.
Together we will dance...

  1. There's a nice building and layering as you move through this piece, weaving identity and that search for self with dancing.

  2. Another thing I like about this piece is that you're also playing with stanza use and I appreciate and respect that exercise in experimentation.
